About this talk

• Businesses are unable to connect purpose and profits together on the spectrum of inclusive management.

• The vision and mission statements of businesses are steeped in purpose. However business outcomes are measured in revenues. This needs to change, simply because we can’t have a purpose driven framework measure returns in business-as-usual terms.

• When organisations don't function with a true purpose framework, they are unable to create a culture of purpose. As a result, in the event of a pandemic such as the present COVID-19 crisis, they are unable to reinvent, recreate and achieve their potential.

• Leaders need to make effort to understand the true meaning of purpose and guide their organisations accordingly.Purpose based revenues will thus become the new normal. Please see this article: https://medium.com/coronagraph/coronavius-covid-19-how-should-we-react-proact-31abe766a127

• In our session, as part of this summit, we will present the real and practical link between people, purpose and profits and share some route-maps for achieving this new normal. We will cover sectors and examples to demonstrate our case.

• We will touch upon how coaching for a mindset that encompasses a higher order of emotional intelligence can indeed help businesses and HR teams create the right purpose culture within the organisation. If organisations indeed succeed in behaving this way, they will be able to remove their blind spots and deal with crisis and pandemics more effectively instead of a piecemeal reactive approach.
