Jon Ingham is an independent people strategy consultant who has also worked as a chemical engineer, an IT consultant and an international HR director. His work focuses on helping companies innovate their people management and organisation design activities, often through the use of new people technologies, in order to better inform their own strategic needs and also to respond to changes in the world of work. He is the author of The Social Organization (2017) and has co-authored an article on the future of HR together with Dave Ulrich, from which he created a suggested new archetype, the Melded Network HR Model. He has frequently been recognised a leading authority in HR and in 2019 was one of HR Magazine (UK)’s Most Influential Movers and Shakers, and in 2019 and 2020 has been recognised as one of HR Executive (USA)’s Top 100 HR Tech Influencers.
